Prof. Kay Chen Tan, Bachelor and Ph.D., University of Glasgow, UK, Changjiang Chair Professor, American IEEE Fellow, Fellow Judge, Council Member of Computational Intelligence Association.

Since 1997, he has served as a doctoral supervisor at the National University of Singapore. He is currently a professor at the City University of Hong Kong. He is the editor-in-chief of IEEE Transactions on Evolutionary Computation (IF: 8.124) and the editor-in-chief of IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine (IF: 6.611). He is also the editor-in-chief of more than 10 other top Editor of international journals, co-chair of the 2016 World Conference on Intelligent Computing (WCCI), and co-chair of the 2019 IEEE Conference on Evolutionary Computing (CEC). Professor Tan has published more than 300 papers and 10 monographs, among which "Modern Industrial Automation Software Design" has been translated into Chinese. He has been invited to give conference reports at more than 60 international conferences, and has won many academic institutions' achievement awards and awards. Honors, including the 2016 IEEE Transactions on Neural Network and Learning Systems Best Paper Award, 2008 International Network for Engineering Education & Research's 'Recognition Award' Award, etc. He mainly studies artificial intelligence and computational intelligence, machine learning and optimization, data mining and operations research, etc., and promotes the theory and innovative technology of optimization, data analysis and machine learning applications. He has been cited more than 11,500 times in Google Scholar.
